Who wants FREE Photoshop Actions?<div style="text-align: center;"><p>Here's what the B/W High Key action will give you:</p><p><a href="http://rischa.typepad.com/.a/6a00d8341d6bb853ef011572385247970b-popup" onclick="window.open( this.href, '_blank', 'width=640,height=480,scrollbars=no,resizable=no,toolbar=no,directories=no,location=no,menubar=no,status=no,left=0,top=0' ); return false" style="display: inline;"><img style="width: 336px; height: 242px;" alt="B_W_High_Key_RLH_BeforeAfter" class="at-xid-6a00d8341d6bb853ef011572385247970b image-full " src="http://rischa.typepad.com/.a/6a00d8341d6bb853ef011572385247970b-800wi" title="B_W_High_Key_RLH_BeforeAfter" border="0" /></a></p><p>The header of <a href="http://www.rischa.typepad.com/">this blog</a> was also done using the B/W High Key action. I've used it many times. It's fun to run the action and then drag the black and white image over the top of the same image in color and lower the opacity of the b/w image. It will result in a very cool look.</p><p>Here's the result you will get with the Dreamy action:</p><p><a href="http://rischa.typepad.com/.a/6a00d8341d6bb853ef01157238585b970b-popup" onclick="window.open( this.href, '_blank', 'width=640,height=480,scrollbars=no,resizable=no,toolbar=no,directories=no,location=no,menubar=no,status=no,left=0,top=0' ); return false" style="display: inline;"><img style="width: 334px; height: 238px;" alt="Dreamy_by_RLH_BeforeAfter" class="at-xid-6a00d8341d6bb853ef01157238585b970b image-full " src="http://rischa.typepad.com/.a/6a00d8341d6bb853ef01157238585b970b-800wi" title="Dreamy_by_RLH_BeforeAfter" border="0" /></a> </p><p>Click the images to open up a new window with a larger viewing size.<br /></p><p>This may not have been the best photo for the before/after, but you see what it does. This action is good for wedding photography or dressy events or perhaps a little girl in a field of flowers. You get the point. Also, I created these actions in PSCS2, but I have used them in PSCS3, as well. I can't say whether they'll work in 4 as I just don't have it to try. If you try it and find out please let me know if it's a ya or nay.</p><p><a href="http://www.4shared.com/file/120805832/9106a226/Actions_by_Rischa.html" target="_blank">DOWNLOAD HERE</a></p><p>You don't have to give me credit if you don't want to do so, but please don't take the credit yourself if any credit is given. ;-) That's just not nice.</p><p>If you want to show me your work just leave a link to your uploaded photo in the comments section. I'd really love to see what you can do with the actions.</p></div>Rischa Heapehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05851329559364618457noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8093596597043401025.post-69176216020401269672009-05-27T08:39:00.002-04:002009-05-27T08:44:01.870-04:00Colourful Building Works<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEio_kz46Y-Hv6drL7G0Egaw29owq4641lPDvpCbqV8j1sgEE1JQRus9P1_djpY8mzQVIhWY2wdwVb5dL4OxVsZ4EmZ79feRLmJgHcLbZiMYUgBsFmSihKQ2FNyzSayYODxU4uUT3QCCQlkt/s1600-h/pouring+concrete+for+email2.jpg"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5340483554147270226" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 340px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 236px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEio_kz46Y-Hv6drL7G0Egaw29owq4641lPDvpCbqV8j1sgEE1JQRus9P1_djpY8mzQVIhWY2wdwVb5dL4OxVsZ4EmZ79feRLmJgHcLbZiMYUgBsFmSihKQ2FNyzSayYODxU4uUT3QCCQlkt/s400/pouring+concrete+for+email2.jpg" border="0" /></a><br /><div>Hi<br />I thouight you might want to see a colourful version of our building works.<br />I love being in Photoshop Phemales. I put a rose on the table to see what he would do, and I got this shot, which is my favorite photo of him. I used Photoshop to intensify the color of the rose, which was a very light pink. And I cloned out an out-of-focus leaf at the edge of the table, carefully aligning the grain of the wood.<br />Elinor<br /><div></div>Unknownnoreply@blogger.com5tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8093596597043401025.post-10503063613526885512009-05-23T15:36:00.000-04:002009-05-23T15:46:14.730-04:00My Aqua Challenge Entry<div align="center">I decided to post my entry into the current challenge. It was an Aqua Challenge. (Joel's idea) Here's my entry:<br /></div><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5339106024926128546" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 257px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 320px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiqCLaGDKTTYMac9bFpWLfUlBr_qIh11EDp0dU1bNck10LpVK9JKKfzfB4b5RSwRH6LFPO3bnbLypdcqF8Z3ArFl86VryrjpcI0IFViV5i19U1AFTYXo3v3g5a8NbJPG3hWpfYJG4QiAvw/s320/Adam_After_1_Resized.jpg" border="0" />This is an older photo that I took of one of my Mom's friends out behind my parents' house. I duplicated the image and ran one of my old b/w actions on the duplicate. Then I dragged the b/w image over the top of the color image and changed the b/w layer transparency to 60% to give it the color you see. Other than that I selected around the subject with a 20% feather, inverted, added a slight blur, modified>contracted 20px>repeat blur. The background needed a little separation from the subject. I think that's about it? I did this a week ago, so the details are getting fuzzy now.<br /><div align="center"><br /></div><br /><p align="center"></p><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5339107806669045538" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 304px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 320px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgDzEX_p2U8SPqCF2NZtLUnPGNRjyTlGeM5YN_iKeXzubr7Qhl9OjWDlLijwL7RrlFLic5D_qVbB7RenDx5WuGjnQwro093GrXGCN-xf8Ra8rNFM0WFy8H_dxqoiduew4v1ReaLDBA6UkU/s320/Artist_And_Pup_Rischa.png" border="0" />Rischa Heapehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05851329559364618457noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8093596597043401025.post-79858454316115135952009-05-22T20:38:00.001-04:002009-05-23T00:35:40.322-04:00Welcome to the PhPh Blog!<div align="center"><br /> </div><div align="center"><a href="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v325/Rischa/avatars/PSGirl.gif"><img style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 150px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 50px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v325/Rischa/avatars/PSGirl.gif" border="0" /></a><br />This is a blog where the members of the Photoshop Phemales group will post about Photoshop related topics and show off their latest and greatest creations.
